A Timeless Note from Mark Twain About the Jewish People, published in the year 1899:
“If the statistics are right, the Jews constitute but one percent of the human race. It suggests a nebulous dim puff of star dust lost in the blaze of the Milky Way. Properly the Jew ought hardly to be heard of, but he is heard of, has always been heard of. He is as prominent on the planet as any other people, and his commercial importance is extravagantly out of proportion to the smallness of his bulk. His contributions to the world’s list of great names in literature, science, art, music, finance, medicine, and abstruse learning are also away out of proportion to the weakness of his numbers. He has made a marvelous fight in the world, in all the ages; and has done it with his hands tied behind him. He could be vain of himself, and be excused for it. The Egyptian, the Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greek and the Roman followed, and made a vast noise, and they are gone; other peoples have sprung up and held their torch high for a time, but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now, or have vanished. Can you imagine the same things that Twain saw and commented about the Jewish people, are still truth.
Just consider that the Jewish population of the world is only 15 million, and the population of the whole world is close to 9000 million, a mere: (15/9000) (100) = 0.016% of the total population of the world.
Israel occupies close to 20,000 square kilometers, most of it being desertic land and the total world surface is approximately around: 148.94 million square kilometers. These includes all the landmasses on the planet, including continents, islands, and other landforms
So Israel only occupies of that total: (20 000/149 940 000) (100) = 0.0001333% of that large amount of land in the world.
Both small numbers and percentages are too much for the entire world to accept and support.
Why?
Hate!
And lots of discrimination, besides antisemitism or anti-Israelism or anti-Zionism!
This has been going on at least 3,000 years and must end at all and everywhere.
Let my people live wherever we choose, can and mainly in our ancient home land “ERETZ ISRAEL” the current “STATE OF ISRAEL” the only “JEWISH STATE” in the whole world. We deserve a peaceful existence as any other people on earth.
